RN - Outpatient Procedure Unit

Job Details:

* Day shift position working five 8-hour shifts
* Outpatient procedure unit RN role suitable for perioperative, PACU, or endoscopy RN background
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned patient groups according to established standards of care and the nursing process
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans to attain patient outcomes
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver safe and effective care
* Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
* Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of healthcare team members
* Minimum two years of recent experience in field required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* Acute care facility experience preferred
* Required certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor
