Open Position: Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician

Job Details:

* Work 10-hour day shifts Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
* No required weekend shifts, but possible weekend call coverage on Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
* Holiday coverage may be required
* No required on-call or standby obligations outside of potential weekend call
* Perform cardiac, HIDA, bone, gastric, and VQ imaging studies
* Average 3 to 8 scans or studies per day
* Operate Siemens and D-Spect equipment for cardiac imaging in a department with 1 scanner
* May be required to float or cover other areas within the department
* Start IVs as needed
* Work independently with support from an on-site radiologist
* Use Cerner EMR and PACS charting systems
* Acute care setting
* Scrubs required but not provided
* Required certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA), CNMT
* Candidates must not have worked full-time, part-time, or PRN with any associated facilities within the past year and must reside outside a 50-mile radius

This acute care facility operates a nuclear medicine department equipped with advanced imaging technology including Siemens and D-Spect scanners. The department supports a range of diagnostic imaging studies and maintains an on-site radiologist to support clinical operations. The organization utilizes Cerner as its electronic medical record and picture archiving and communication system, ensuring streamlined workflows for radiology professionals.
