RN - L&D

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts with flexibility to cover other shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
* Provide nursing care in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum rooms, and Babies room within a Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) setting
* Support an average of 40 deliveries per month and approximately 6 C-sections per month
* May be required to serve as charge nurse on occasion following charge nurse training
* Occasional floating to other departments in which you are qualified, which may include taking a patient load or task-oriented duties such as answering call lights and phones
* Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn care required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS or ALSO, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) RNC-EFM may be substituted for AWHONN FHM
