Open Position: Sleep Tech - Polysomnographer

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2166.88

Opportunity:

Sleep Lab - RT

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM
* Weekends scheduled as needed with no required weekend commitment
* No holiday or on-call requirements
* No floating requirements
* Patient ratio of 2:1 or 1:1 depending on patient needs
* Work with pulmonary patients including those with OSA, CSA, OHS, COPD, oxygen dependency, cardiology conditions, and REM behavior disorders
* Operate and manage RT equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and ASV devices
* Utilize NATUS Sleep Works and MPR home units for sleep studies and scoring
* Chart using EPIC electronic health record system
* No self-scheduling allowed, though some flexibility with range of days scheduled
* Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week contract
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
* BSN not required
* Required certifications: BLS Certification, Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC, Certified Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS) via NBRC, Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) via BRPT, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC

This acute care facility operates a specialized sleep laboratory providing diagnostic and therapeutic services for patients with a wide range of sleep and pulmonary disorders. The unit maintains a focused, patient-centered environment with small bed capacity and individualized care ratios to ensure high-quality outcomes. The facility utilizes modern sleep study technology and supports staff through structured onboarding and departmental orientation to ensure seamless integration into the team.
