Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
* Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
* Floating to other units is required
* Charge nurse capability highly preferred
* Travel experience is required
* Minimum 2+ years of experience in emergency department required with some pediatric experience
* Treat patients across all age groups including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients
* Common patient diagnoses include stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
* Work in a 64-bed unit consisting of 2 triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 trauma, 10 CDU, and 6 psych beds
* Operate specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
* EMR experience with EPIC required
* Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (must be in hand)
* Active New York RN license required with NURSYS verification
* Scrub color: Navy Blue
