Opportunity:

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Details:

* Work 5x8 shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* Occasional weekend shifts required
* No on-call required
* Daily caseload of 6.5 out of 8 hours of contact time with patients (treatment times range from 30 to 60 minutes per patient)
* Primary position in Inpatient Rehab Program with potential float to acute care based on census fluctuations
* Work on a hospital-based inpatient rehab unit with 28 patient beds
* Charting conducted via Epic
* Scrub color: Misty Grey (light grey/silver)
* Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
* 2-3 years of experience with Inpatient Rehab Facility required
* First-time travelers accepted with prior IRF experience
* Current South Carolina state licensure required
* Required certifications: BLS, ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
* Special skills required: NMES (Vital Stim) and Modified Barium Swallow (MBS)
* Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Block schedule may be requested prior to assignment but is not guaranteed
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of presentation

This facility is a hospital-based inpatient rehabilitation program located on the 9th floor of a 396-bed hospital, offering a specialized environment for rehabilitation care. The unit consists of 28 patient beds and supports interdisciplinary care for patients requiring intensive rehabilitation services. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and provides a collaborative setting for clinicians dedicated to restoring patient function and quality of life.
