Opportunity:

RN - Telemetry / Med Surg

Job Details:

* 2 years of Telemetry/Med Surg experience required
* Self-scheduling type
* Patient ratios of 5:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* 4-6 weekend shifts per 6-week contract required
* Will be expected to work 3 out of 5 winter holidays
* Float required to other units within the facility or potentially to an affiliate nearby hospital
* Cares for adult and geriatric patient populations
* Broad patient mix including acute and telemetry, community health, substance abuse, and psychiatric diagnoses
* Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* Required competency exams: EKG onboarding exam, Med/Surg Tele competency exam, Med/Surg Tele skills, Math exam, Med/Pharmacology exam, and CORE exams
* Skills required: interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, and telemetry
* Compact or Kentucky state license required
* Local travelers within 100 miles are not accepted at this facility
