Open Position: Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* Guaranteed 36 hours per week
* NICU and/or PICU experience required (hard stop requirement)
* Required certifications: BCLS, RRT, BLS, NRP, PALS
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Scrub color: Any color or facility-branded t-shirts/jackets
* Charting system: EPIC (experience required)
* Serve patients across multiple age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, and adults
* Work in an Emergency Department setting within a Level 1 trauma facility
* Operate specialized equipment including servo ventilator, nitric oxide delivery systems, and high-frequency oscillator
* Required skills include BiPAP, CPAP, HFNC, mechanical ventilation weaning, intubation assist, tracheostomy care/management, arterial blood gas interpretation, and pediatric critical care
* Up to 2 requests for pre-approved time off permitted

Facility:

This is a children's acute care teaching hospital with 400 staffed beds and a daily census of approximately 320 patients. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including interpretation services and rapid response teams, serving a diverse pediatric patient population from neonates through adolescents. The hospital is equipped with advanced specialty resources to support high-acuity care across emergency, NICU, and pediatric critical care settings.
