Open Position: RN - Short Stay

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2709.80

Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

* Rotating shift schedule with options for 4x8-hour or 3x12-hour shifts
* Start times of 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM, or 12:00 PM with no set days
* One weeknight on-call shift if needed
* Possible 2-3 weekend day shifts (typically scheduled once in a 6-week schedule)
* Perform professional functions of a Registered Nurse including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
* Function as Scrub Technician when needed
* Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care
* Conduct patient history and physical assessments according to unit-specific nursing protocol for all age groups
* Recognize and respond to signs and symptoms of cardiac or respiratory distress or other impending emergencies
* Demonstrate ability to effectively function in Code Blue and other emergency situations
* Accurately administer and chart medications according to hospital policies and procedures
* Participate in Lean Daily Management practices
* Support education and development of new staff members
* Minimum 2 years of recent experience in field required
* One year of recent acute care RN experience in an operating room preferred
* EPIC experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
* Current RN nursing license per state of assignment required
