Opportunity:

Cardiology Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)

Job Details:

* 13-week contract with temp-to-hire potential; clinic may offer permanent placement at end of contract
* Schedule: 4x8-hour shifts, Monday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday; Tuesday shifts may be an option for additional coverage
* Shift times: Monday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Tuesday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
* No weekend shifts required
* No on-call requirements
* Primary location: First Hill Clinic (Seattle) Monday through Thursday; Friday at First Hill Clinic with possibility of floating to Ravenna Clinic (Seattle) or Canyon Park Clinic (Bothell) as needed
* Floating may be required for staffing coverage as needed, not on a daily basis
* Must be a certified Medical Assistant (MA-C); MA-R, MA-P, and MA-HT designations are not eligible
* 6 months of experience working as an MA-C in an adult/pediatric outpatient clinic setting preferred; cardiology setting preferred
* Reliable personal transportation required; public transportation is not acceptable; travel pairs must have separate vehicles
* Scrub color: Solid dark, no prints
* Charting system: EPIC (experience preferred)
* Required certifications: BLS, CMA
* Required skills include: obtaining vital signs, height/weight, pulse oximetry, 12-lead EKG/ECG, patient positioning and draping, recording history/medications/allergies, administering immunizations, blood glucose via glucometer, chart preparation, stocking supplies, telephone triage, administering medication, follow-up phone calls, and rooming patients

This outpatient cardiology clinic operates across multiple locations in the Seattle and Bothell areas, providing specialized cardiovascular care to patients of all ages. The facility utilizes EPIC for electronic charting and maintains a professional, team-oriented environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care across its network of clinic sites.
