Opportunity:
CT Technologist
Job Details:
* Evening shift working 4x10-hour shifts
* Shift hours from approximately 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM
* Days off still to be determined - either Monday or Friday off
* Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue
* Perform a variety of imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric
* Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
* Use PACS and teleradiology systems to correctly transfer images to appropriate locations
* Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information
* Ensure integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines
* Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory
* Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
* ARRT registration - R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT) required
* Advanced Certification in CT modality required
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required
* ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) required
* Venipuncture certification preferred
* Minimum two years of recent experience in the field required
