Open Position: RN - Med Surg Adult

Opportunity:

RN - Med/Surg

Job Details:

* Day or night shift availability required (shift assignment to be determined)
* 13-week contract with 36 scheduled hours per week following first full week of orientation
* Required to work various shift lengths and various days - must be flexible
* No guarantee of hours or shift preference
* Provide med/surg level care for patients 18 and older
* May float to surgical pediatrics or transitional care units
* Nurse to patient ratio of 1:5
* Unit bed size: 50 beds
* Utilize equipment including Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes
* Minimum 2+ years of med/surg or higher level of care experience required
* Required certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred
* Active Hawaii state nursing license required prior to start of assignment
* Professional nursing attire required with no specific scrub colors and closed toe shoes
* Orientation program included in the first week
