Opportunity:

Neurodiagnostic Specialist (Surgical/Stereoelectroencephalography)

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Sunday through Tuesday
* Acute care setting
* Perform standard and complex EEG recordings including Long Term Monitoring (LTM), Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU), and intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring (IONM)
* Perform specialized intracranial stereoelectroencephalography (SEEG) and Transcranial Doppler (TCD) studies
* Assist with electrode implantation and design for invasive recordings
* Perform cortical mapping in the operating room
* Recognize clinically significant electrographic patterns and provide critical results
* Charting system: EPIC
* Minimum of 5 years of experience required
* BSN not required
* Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or up to 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
* Required certifications: BLS Certification, Certified Long-Term Monitoring (CLTM) via ABRET, Registered EEG Technologist (R.EEGT.) via ABRET
