Job Details:

* 8-hour shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* 36 guaranteed hours per week
* Work week runs Sunday through Saturday
* No weekend coverage or rotation at this time
* No holiday coverage or rotation at this time
* Post acute care setting
* Provide nutritional care to assigned residents in a caring, safe, and efficient manner
* Oversee and ensure appropriate nutritional care according to physician orders, state/federal regulations, and resident care plans
* Ensure nutritious and appetizing meals, snacks, and supplements are planned, prepared, and served in a pleasant atmosphere
* Provide residents with opportunities for independence and choice consistent with their care plans
* Assess residents' nutritional needs and document nutritional care provided
* Observe and report residents' conditions to appropriate staff
* Follow infection control procedures and OSHA and CDC guidelines related to blood borne pathogens
* Maintain privacy and confidentiality of residents
* Ability to lift up to 40 lbs required
* Charting system: Point Click Care (PCC)
* Completion of an accredited college program, registration with the American Dietetic Association, and/or state licensure as required
* Prior applicable work experience preferred
* BLS Certification required
* Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both orally and in writing
