Open Position: RN - Tele

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2068.24

Opportunity:

RN - Med/Tele

Job Details:

* 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
* 36 hours per week or 36/48 hours bi-weekly guaranteed
* Every other weekend required
* Holidays are required
* No call or standby requirements
* Patient ratios of 5-6:1 with 25 beds on unit
* PCTs present at a 12:1 ratio
* Charge Nurse, House Supervisors, and Nurse Educators available on unit
* Telemonitor techs monitor patients, but RNs must be able to read strips
* Common patient diagnoses include CHF, diabetes, pneumonia, CKD, and med/surg tele cases
* Required to titrate Heparin drips only
* Must be comfortable working with CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow patients
* Will float to all med/surg units and possibly to PCU to care for tele holds prior to transfer
* Scheduling is managed by the unit manager and block scheduling cannot be accommodated
* 2 shadow/orientation shifts provided for department orientation
* Charting system is Paragon, transitioning to EPIC on October 30th, 2026
* Scrub color requirement: Navy blue
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS
* 18+ months of recent Med/Tele experience required
* Strong communication and time management skills required
* Rural hospital experience preferred
* Must be a team player comfortable working in a rural hospital environment that is highly reliant on travel staff
