Open Position: RN - Tele

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2068.24

Opportunity:

RN - Med/Tele

Job Details:

* 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
* Every other weekend required
* Holidays required
* No call or standby requirements
* 36 hours per week or 36/48 hours bi-weekly guaranteed
* Scheduling is managed by the unit manager based on facility needs; block scheduling cannot be accommodated
* Patient ratios of 5-6:1 with PCTs present at a 12:1 ratio
* 25-bed unit managing common diagnoses including CHF, diabetes, pneumonia, CKD, and med/surg tele patients
* RNs must be able to read telemetry strips; tele monitor techs also monitor patients
* Manage patients on CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow oxygen
* Float to all med/surg units and possibly to PCU to care for tele holds prior to transfer
* Charge nurses, house supervisors, and nurse educators available for support
* Department orientation consists of 2 shadow/orientation shifts in Kurth Tower (all med/surg tele)
* Charting system is Paragon; transitioning to EPIC on October 30th, 2026
* Scrub color requirement: Navy blue
* 18+ months of recent Med/Tele experience required
* Rural hospital experience preferred
* Strong communication and time management skills required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS
