Opportunity:

SLP - Speech Language Pathologist

Job Details:

* Work Monday through Friday or flexible shifted schedule options available including Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday
* Guaranteed 40 hours per week (or 36 hours per week)
* Work across SNF and Home Health settings including Grand Island SNF, Hastings SNF, and Home Health in surrounding areas
* Reporting location based out of Grand Island
* Supervise 2 Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
* Productivity expectations: SNF at 82% (evaluation, group, and concurrent time counted in full); Home Health at 90% including drive time and documentation time
* Administer and perform therapeutic interventions with clients
* Assess client needs and develop individualized therapy plans
* Document observations and services provided using Net Health and HCHB software
* Train clients, family members, and staff on interventions and equipment
* Communicate and coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
* Follow infection control and safety standards when using equipment
* Utilize appropriate bag techniques and standard precautions
* Weight lifting requirement up to 50 lbs

* Required certifications: BLS Certification
* State of practice certification required
* Basic speech/language pathology skills required
* Must be at least 18 years of age
