Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* Work mid-shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM with rotating weekends
* Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department
* Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust nursing care processes to ensure optimal patient care and flow through the ER
* Meet psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of patient care needs
* Address communication needs of patients and their families
* Consult with specialists and ancillary departments as required
* Communicate with ED physicians regarding changes in patient status, symptomatology, and diagnostic study results
* Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment
* Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Illinois required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
* Preferred certifications: ENPC, TNCC, TNS
