Opportunity:
Nuclear Medicine/ PET CT scan Tech Days
Job Details:
* Monday through Friday schedule with no call or weekend requirements
* Varied start times between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM
* Perform PET/CT and CT diagnostic imaging with contrast
* Apply diagnostic evaluation and therapeutic techniques using radioactive materials and X-rays for patients of all ages
* Utilize radionuclides safely and effectively under the direction of a licensed authorized user or license designee
* Float within scope to meet facility needs as required
* Travel to support multiple sites including Westwood, Santa Monica, Encino, and Santa Clarita as requested by the chief technologist
* 1 year of experience preferred
* Dual licensure in Nuclear Medicine and CT and/or X-ray is critical
* Required certifications: ARRT N, CNMT, NMTCB, PET, ARRT CT/NMTCB (CT), State Licensed (X-ray)
* Required skills: Adult patient care, clinic, isolation precautions/PPE, PET scan, Siemens equipment, starting and maintaining IVs, storing/handling/disposal of radioactive materials
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs
