Opportunity:

AN - IMCU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
* Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
* Floating to other units is required
* Scrub color required: Navy Blue
* Care for adult patients ages 18 and older
* Work in a 64-bed unit with 15 designated Neuro beds
* Treat patients with common diagnoses including Neuro, Cardiac, Trauma, Respiratory, COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, and post-operative cases
* Operate specialty equipment including temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and Neptune Vapo
* Work with chronic vent patients who are unable to wean with respiratory therapy assistance
* EMR experience required: EPIC
* Minimum 2+ years of experience in IMCU/PCU required
* Travel experience required
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
* Active NY RN license required with NURSYS verification

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) equipped to handle a wide range of complex medical conditions including neurological, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory cases. The unit features 64 beds, including 15 designated Neuro beds, and is staffed to support patients requiring advanced monitoring and specialty equipment. The facility maintains high standards of patient care and utilizes the EPIC electronic medical records system to support its clinical teams.
