Opportunity:

RN - Wound Care

Job Details:

* Day shift position working four 10-hour shifts per week
* No weekend or holiday requirements
* No on-call or standby requirements
* Treat a minimum of 5 to 15 patients per day depending on new consults
* Work alongside a team of 3 to 4 other RNs in this role
* Float to multiple facilities as needed, sometimes planned in advance
* Manage and coordinate patient care and wound management in consults and recommendations in accordance with established standards, defined timelines, and overall plan of care
* Handle documentation and billing, discharge planning for supplies, identification, assessment, prevention, and continuing education
* Collaborate interdisciplinarily and provide photo documentation using a provided phone
* Common diagnoses include ostomies and/or draining wounds or fistulas, pressure ulcers, vascular, arterial, and diabetic ulcerations, skin conditions resulting from incontinence, surgical procedures and/or trauma, skin/tissue integrity, altered continence, and wound vacs
* Operate Smith and Nephew wound vacs
* Chart using EPIC electronic health record system
* No scrub color preference
* Required certifications: BLS, WOCN, and Wound Care Certified (WCC) via NAWCO
* Washington State RN license required
* CWON certification required; no previous travel experience required
