Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

* Work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
* Independently perform radiation therapy treatments, simulations, and treatment planning
* Fabricate specialized treatment aides according to physician prescriptions and instructions
* Operate Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator and ARIA EMR system
* Treat 25-30 patients per day
* Handle treatment modalities including 3D, IMRT, SBRT, and electrons
* Perform set-ups for all treatment sites in comprehensive cancer center
* Must possess Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as Radiation Therapist by start date
* Required certifications: ARRT in Radiation Therapy (T) and BLS
* 2 years of progressively responsible imaging technologist/specialist experience required
* Must arrive Thursday before start date for Friday employee health appointment
* Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across lifespan
* Assess patient data and interpret information for age-specific care requirements
