Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

Job Details:

* Provide diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound and related diagnostic procedures
* Responsible for daily operations of the sonography room and patient schedule
* Perform equipment maintenance and report equipment failures
* Participate in quality assessment processes
* Maintain a high standard of medical ethics
* Stay current with evolving knowledge of the field, disease, and new procedures
* Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or Cardiovascular Technology program accredited by CAAHEP required
* Active ARDMS certification in Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular required
* Breast certification preferred
* Certification in Adult Echocardiography preferred
* Current compliance with Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements required
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
