Job Details:

* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for each patient using the nursing process
* Provide quality care based on assessment needs and established plan of care
* Educate patients and families from admission through discharge
* Document nursing process thoroughly, concisely, and accurately
* Notify physicians of pertinent observations and changes in patient status
* Administer medications and perform treatments in a safe and accurate manner
* Implement physician orders as written
* Ensure equipment and supplies are readily available for patient care
* Accept responsibility for direction of co-workers and delegation of role-appropriate tasks
* Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Must demonstrate ability to handle multiple priorities and make independent decisions
* Critical thinking skills required
* Associate degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
* Previous nursing experience preferred
* Valid Ohio nursing license required
* CPR certification required
* Medium physical work required, exerting up to 20-50 pounds of force occasionally
