Job Details:

* Evaluate patients' physical and functional status and establish and implement appropriate plans of care within the scope of Physical Therapy practice
* Document initial evaluations, re-evaluations, progress notes, daily treatments, education, and discharge summaries in compliance with rehab policies
* Educate patients, families, and caregivers in strategies to manage pain, improve safety and function, and provide individualized plan of care education
* Identify and address patient safety issues for patients, families, and caregivers
* Position may require working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts
* On-call work may be required to respond promptly to organizational, patient, or employee needs
* Facility reserves the right to cancel up to three shifts per 13-week contract in the event of low census or unforeseen circumstances
* Must reside at least 90 miles away from the facility to be considered
* Bachelor's degree and graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Program required
* Montana Physical Therapist licensure required
* American Heart Association BLS certification required
* Must participate in two hours of initial cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education
* Two years of physical therapy experience preferred
