Opportunity:
RN/Tech - Electrophysiology Lab
Job Details:
* Day shift hours from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no on-call requirements
* May be required to stay until end of day if additional cases are added on
* No call time required; volunteer basis only for emergencies or weekend cases
* Facility is closed on holidays
* Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
* Work in a combined unit with 3 Electrophysiology suites averaging 22 total cases between Cath Lab and EP daily
* May start with 15 cases and take as many as 15 add-on cases
* Perform circulating and assisting roles; core staff handles majority of documentation
* Procedures include ablations, atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, and advanced EP lab cases
* Experience with sedation and Phase 1 recovery required; ICU or PACU experience is a plus
* Minimum 2 years of Electrophysiology experience required
* Techs must have experience in both Cath Lab and EP
* EPIC charting system experience preferred
* Not required to scrub in
* Expected to be a team player and assist where able in a one-team approach environment
* Equipment used includes St. Jude and Webster EP equipment
* RN required certifications: BLS and ACLS
* Tech required certifications: RCIS, RT, or RCE
* BSN not required
* Acute care setting
