Opportunity:

ICU RN

Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* Holiday rotation required
* Patient ratio of 1:4
* Float within scope to meet facility needs as required, agency staff floats first
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Block schedule may be requested prior to assignment but is not guaranteed
* 2 years of ICU and/or Stepdown experience required
* First-time travelers accepted with prior ICU and/or Stepdown experience
* South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Preferred certification: NIHSS
* Charting system: Epic (preferred experience)
* Scrub color: Royal blue
* Free parking available
* Patients served: Adults and Geriatrics
* Key skills include arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, cardiac telemetry, interpretation of arterial blood gases, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, tracheostomy care and management, and wound care among others

Facility:

This facility is a 12-bed intensive care unit offering specialized critical care services to adult and geriatric patient populations. The unit utilizes Epic for charting and maintains a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support and is equipped to handle a wide range of complex diagnoses and critical care procedures, maintaining high standards of patient care throughout.
