Job Details:

* Work 12-hour shifts, both day (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) and night (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) shifts available
* Every other weekend required
* On-call requirements apply
* Guaranteed 36 hours per week
* Assignment length of 6 weeks
* Minimum 2+ years of emergency room experience required
* Required certifications: PALS or ENPC, ACLS, BLS, TNCC, NIHSS
* Active Texas RN license required - temporary licenses will not be accepted
* CEN certification preferred
* Meditech documentation system experience preferred
* Strong teamwork and communication skills preferred
* Perform procedures including conscious sedation, intubations, behavioral health watch, sepsis management, stroke care with TPA administration, and chest pain/heart alerts
* All travelers are required to float per the Methodist Floating Policy
* Dress code: Navy scrubs required for RN; white, navy, or black undershirts and jackets only
* No acrylic nails, nails must be kept short, clean, and free of chipped nail polish
* Hair must be kept off shoulders and in natural color
* Body art should be covered whenever possible
* Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
