RN - Labor & Delivery
Job Details:
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Patient ratio of 1:2 on days, nights, and weekends
* No on-call requirements
* No weekend requirements
* First-time travelers accepted
* Must be willing to float between like units within the state
* Block schedule available at manager's discretion
* RTO must be included at time of submission
* Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Advanced AWHONN, LA Fire Card (must be within last 30 days)
* California state license required and must be in hand prior to start
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Scrub color: Any color (L&D and OR scrubs provided)
* Free parking available
* Experience circulating for cesarean sections in the operating room required
* Prefer candidates with experience at a facility performing a minimum of 200 deliveries per month
* Manager prefers candidates who have not worked exclusively in a teaching facility
* Interdisciplinary support includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
* Patients served include neonates and adults
* Unit includes 10 rooms and 15 beds with a daily census of 12
* Orientation hours: 24
