Job Details:

* 13-week assignment with ASAP start date
* 4x10 day shifts with variable start times of either 6:45 AM?5:15 PM or 9:00 AM?7:30 PM
* Guaranteed 60 hours per 2-week period; traveler may be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2-week period
* Weekend shifts required on a variable basis; must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
* On-call limited to coverage for call-offs only
* May float to like units within scope if needed; no block scheduling available
* Local candidates not accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Travel experience not required but preferred
* Required certifications: BLS; ACLS preferred, CNOR preferred
* Epic charting experience required
* Alaska RN license required; must be in hand for auto offer
* Scrub color/uniform provided by facility
* Free parking available
* Patient age groups served: neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* 18 operating rooms with a daily census of approximately 40
* Patient diagnoses include trauma (MVA, GSW, orthopedic fractures, neuro), cancer, pediatrics, ortho/neuro, ENT, urology, dental, eye, gynecology, day surgery, and vascular
* Special procedures include bariatric surgery, ortho (spine, total joints, revision), neuro (craniotomy, spine), gynecology, ENT, breast, Ivor Lewis/Whipple, urology, and vascular
* Special equipment includes XI Robot, Stealth, and Mazor Robot Spine
* Interdisciplinary support available including interpretation services, lift teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary
* All requested time off must be included at time of submission
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years, completed prior to start
