Opportunity:
Registered Dietitian - Outpatient
Job Details:
* Work 34 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
* See up to 8 patients per day in an outpatient clinic setting
* Provide medical nutrition therapy to adult patient populations
* Work with patients presenting with morbid obesity, malabsorption syndromes, nutrient deficiencies, and post-op gastric bypass conditions
* Perform nutrition assessments and reassessments, calorie counts, and fluid balance monitoring
* Manage enteral nutrition (tube feedings) and nutrition therapy complications
* Apply current medical nutrition therapy standards across a variety of patient populations
* Utilize Epic charting system - experience required
* Work independently with limited supervision
* 2 years of experience required
* Travel experience required
* Bachelor's Degree required (if RD credential acquired before 01/01/2024) or Master's Degree required (if RD credential acquired after 01/01/2024) from an ACEND-approved Didactic Program in Dietetics
* Completion of an ACEND-approved Dietetic Internship or equivalent supervised practice program required
* Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required
* Licensed Dietitian credential required
* BLS certification required
* Interpretation services available for interdisciplinary support
