Job Details:

* Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients as a member of the interdisciplinary team
* Average 4-6 patients per day with a patient population primarily consisting of those needing short-term therapy after hospitalization or nursing home stays
* Coverage area spans 50 miles of Fort Dodge, IA with an average of 200-250 miles driven per week
* Must have own vehicle - mileage will be reimbursed
* Weekly team meetings occur virtually with monthly in-person meetings
* EMR system: EPIC - Epic experience preferred
* 36-48 hours per week with overtime billable after 40 or 48 hours depending on schedule
* Required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, or Labor Day
* No on-call or weekend requirements
* Orientation begins every Monday and includes general organization orientation, required online courses, 2 days of Epic training, and ride-along/shadow visits
* Therapy manager provides support during the first couple of weeks reviewing documentation and answering questions virtually
* Typically fully productive by week 3
* Minimum 2 years of previous OT experience required; home health experience preferred but not required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: BLS
* Iowa state license required
* Driver's license required
* Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date required
* 1 supervisory reference required at time of submission
* Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility based on driver's license address
