Opportunity:

RN - Maternal Infant Unit

Job Details:

* Work in a 24-bed Maternal Infant Unit providing care for labor, postpartum, and nursery patients
* Labor nurse patient ratio of 1:1, postpartum and nursery ratios of 5-6:1
* Every third weekend required with 12 hours of on-call per 4-week schedule
* Perform and assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, antepartum patient care, newborn care, and postpartum care
* Utilize GE fetal monitors and Meditech/CPN EMR system
* Minimum 2 years of labor experience required
* 2+ years of labor experience with high birth volume LDRP background preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs with pink badges for infant security

This facility houses a well-staffed Maternal Infant Unit with a dedicated team including labor nurses, nursery nurses, OB technicians, secretarial support, leadership, and educators across both day and night shifts. The unit is equipped with modern technology to support comprehensive maternal and infant care, including advanced fetal monitoring equipment and an integrated electronic medical records system. The facility maintains strong staffing levels to ensure high-quality care for mothers and newborns throughout all stages of the birthing experience.
