Open Position: RN - Cath Lab

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2771.20

Opportunity:

Registered Nurse / Cath Lab RN w/Angio/Vascular

Job Details:

* Cath Lab and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
* Shift schedule: 5x8s or 4x10s
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* On-call required every 3rd week
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* Charting system: EPIC
* Work setting: Cath Lab
* Treats adult patient population
* Must be comfortable performing and assisting with a wide range of procedures including: Activated Clotting Time (ACT), Angioplasty, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Catheterizations, Left Heart Catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Procedural Sedation Administration and Monitoring, and Special Procedures
* Must be proficient with medication administration including Antiarrhythmics, Antihypertensives, Blood Product Administration, Dobutamine, Emergency Medications, IV Vasopressors, Reversal Agents, and Thrombolytics
* Additional skills required: Obtaining 12-lead EKG/ECG, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/PPE, and Radiation and Laser Safety
* Candidates may be required to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Radiology, and Rapid Response Teams
* South Carolina RN license required at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted
* 2 supervisory references required
* Keep requested time off to a minimum; any time off must be approved and documented prior to assignment start
* Expect to work some holidays during the assignment
