Job Details:

* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for each patient using the nursing process
* Accept responsibility for direction of co-workers and delegation of role-appropriate tasks in the implementation of care
* Provide quality care based on assessment needs and established plan of care/pathway
* Educate patients and family members from admission through discharge
* Provide thorough, concise, accurate, and legible documentation of the nursing process
* Notify physician of pertinent observations and changes in patient status
* Administer medications and perform treatments in an accurate and safe manner
* Implement physician orders as written
* Ensure equipment and supplies are readily available for patient care
* Supervise and direct nursing assistants in a professional manner
* Must be able to manage urgent situations calmly and communicate empathically with patients
* Strong interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills required
* Ability to handle multiple priorities and make independent decisions
* Valid Ohio nursing license required
* CPR certification required
* Previous registered nursing experience preferred
