Opportunity:

RT(R) (Cath Lab Tech/CVT)

Job Details:

* Shifts are either 0600?1630 or 0700?1730 depending on call schedule; later shift applies when on call that evening
* Rotating day off each week
* Weekend rotation is call only
* Weekday on-call coverage (Monday?Thursday) once per week from end of shift until 0700 the following morning
* Weekend on-call coverage (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) every 6th weekend from end of shift Friday until Monday at 0700
* 30-minute response time required for call
* 3-person call team consisting of 2 techs and 1 RN
* No sleep room available; may use Admit/Recovery unit if necessary
* 1 holiday per contract (call only)
* Perform approximately 8 cases per day across 2 Cath Labs
* Perform Cath Lab procedures including diagnostic/interventional, LHC/RHC, NSTEMI and STEMI, Impella, IABPs, Rotablator, CTOs/staged PCI, shockwave, temp pacers, peripheral (legs) diagnostic/intervention, and loop recorders
* Perform EP procedures including Micra, pacemaker, AICDs, lead extractions/revisions, and generator changes
* Must be able to scrub and operate the table simultaneously
* Monitoring experience preferred
* May float to Auburn Cath Lab (approximately 15 minutes away) up to once per week; advance notice will be provided
* EMR: EPIC; IV Pumps: Alaris; Medication Dispensing: Pyxis; PACS: Picom; Hemodynamic: Merge (experience preferred); C-arm: GE Alea (experience not required)
* Scrubs provided including lead; extended sizing available for scrubs but not for lead
* Free garage parking available
* Must have a positive attitude, flexibility, and strong teamwork skills
* Travelers with 1 year of Cath Lab experience accepted if they have prior travel experience; first-time travelers require 2+ years of Cath Lab experience
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* Required licensure: ARRT or RCIS License and Washington State License

Facility:

This facility is a Level III Trauma Center with 375 licensed beds, offering a comprehensive range of services including a fully equipped Cath Lab with 2 procedure rooms. The facility provides robust support staff including charge nurses, lead techs, respiratory therapy available 24/7, hospitalists, intensivists, and a cardiologist on call at all times. An RRT and Code Team are also available as needed, ensuring a well-supported environment for both staff and patients.
