Adult RRT- Ashley River Tower

Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Every other weekend required
* Holidays required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Floating may occur to Main Hospital adult population only, with same policies, equipment, and charting requirements
* No floating to sister facilities
* Emergency team activation as required
* Minimum 2 years of critical care experience required
* First-time travelers not accepted
* Required certifications: NBRC RRT certification, BLS, ACLS
* South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license must be in hand at time of start
* Adult critical care RRT experience required
* Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
* Charting system: Epic
* Parking pass available for a one-time payment of $20 (nights and weekends only)
* Block schedule may be accommodated with prior approval but is not guaranteed
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Care for adult ICU patients including cardiovascular and medical-surgical populations
* Patient care areas include Cardiovascular ICU (21 beds) and Medical-Surgical ICU (18 beds)
* Cardiovascular ICU patients include post-op cardiac, thoracic, and complex vascular surgery, heart and lung transplant, LVAD, ECMO, IABP, Impella, and complex cardiology cases
* Medical-Surgical ICU patients include ARDS, septic shock, hematologic and oncologic emergencies, GI hemorrhage, pulmonary hypertension, and perforated viscous

This is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center with 865 staffed beds. The Ashley River Tower campus features nearly 200 beds, including 2 ICUs, 2 step-down floors, 4 general acute care floors, and a 21-bed emergency department. The facility is equipped with advanced technology and supports a wide range of complex medical and surgical specialties, providing a dynamic environment for experienced respiratory therapy professionals.
