Job Details:

* Work 12-hour shifts with variable scheduling between 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Every other weekend rotation required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Scrub color required: Black
* Support interhospital transport via ground or air for pediatric and neonatal patients
* Perform airway management, vasoactive drips/infusion, non-invasive ventilation (BiPAP/HFNC), respiratory inhaled medication administration, and IV/IO access
* Work as part of a transport team consisting of 1 RN, 1 RT, and 1 EMT; partnering with NW Ambulance for ground and Airlift Northwest for air transport (fixed and rotor wing)
* When not transporting, assist in units where there is a need or work as helping hands
* Care for patients with diagnoses including HIE, ppHN, asthma, respiratory illness, sepsis, DKA, metabolic disorders, trauma, ingestions, congenital heart defects, cancer, NEC, and more
* Operate equipment including Phillips monitor, Hamilton ventilator, Braun and Baxter IV pumps, Tecotherm, Zoll defib, TXP, Cross Vent, Zoll emsCHARTS, EPIC, Stryker gurney, transport isolette, and ambulance and aircraft equipment
* Minimum 5 years of experience in PEDS ED/PICU and Level IV NICU required (at least 1 year in each)
* Minimum 3 years of neonatal/pediatric transport experience within the last 5 years required
* Required certifications: Washington State license, BLS, PALS, NRP
* Preferred certifications: TNCC and STABLE
* First-time travelers will be considered

Facility:

This facility is a 152-bed Level 2 Trauma Center and Level 4 NICU serving the Puget Sound region and surrounding communities, including areas as far as eastern Washington. The facility provides advanced specialty services including CRRT and ECMO, and operates a dedicated transport program utilizing both ground and air transport resources to deliver care to pediatric and neonatal patients across the region.
