Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* Float required to meet needs of facility and department
* Patient ratios based on acuity
* Emergency department has 37 rooms/beds with approximately 130 visits per day
* Treats patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* 2 years of emergency room experience required; first-time travelers accepted with ER experience
* South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS (American Heart Association only)
* Preferred certifications: CPI and TNCC
* Epic charting system experience required
* Scrub color: Royal Blue
* Parking at no cost
* Key clinical skills include: blood product administration, IV vasopressor management, interpretation of dysrhythmias, triage, phlebotomy, BiPAP/CPAP management, continuous IV sedation, isolation precautions/PPE, starting and maintaining IVs, and care of ventilated patients
* Special equipment includes Belmont and bedside ultrasound
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams

This acute care hospital operates with 286 staffed beds and a high-volume emergency department that sees approximately 130 patients per day across 37 rooms. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy services. The emergency department is equipped to care for patients of all ages and a wide range of diagnoses, supported by modern technology and specialized equipment.
