Job Details:
* 8-hour day shifts
* Weekend coverage required with variable weekend shifts, likely once per month
* Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Ability to float to other facilities within a 75+ mile radius if job specifications are met
* Minimum 3 years of experience required
* Previous travel assignment required
* Teaching hospital experience required
* Must be able to scrub and circulate
* Previous charge experience required
* Charting experience required using Epic
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), CA RN License, BSN
* Preferred certifications: CNOR, ACLS
* Will perform Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (OHNS) and Craniotomy procedures
* Will perform Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS)
* Will perform Plastic Surgery, Dental Surgery, and combined Neurosurgery/OHNS procedures
* Will handle open and endoscopic surgical cases and free flap reconstructive procedures
* Experience with liver transplant, kidney transplant, neuro, spine, and vascular procedures preferred
* Experience with Da Vinci Xi Robot preferred
* 28 operating rooms available
* Interdisciplinary support includes interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* Patient diagnoses include appendicitis, cholestasis, hernia, obesity, ureteral obstruction, thyroid cancer, liver cancer, and kidney cancer
* Special procedures include laparoscopic cases, robotic cases, open belly cases, and cystos
* Special equipment includes Da Vinci Xi Robot
