Opportunity:

Med/Surg Tele RN

Job Details:

* Day/night rotating shift: 7:00 PM?7:30 AM / 7:00 AM?7:30 PM
* Shifts may be variable based on operational needs of the facility
* 20-week contract preferred; 13-week contracts also accepted
* Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and ED to care for same patient population
* Must work at least every other holiday
* Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in specialty required
* Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience required; travel experience will suffice
* Must hold a permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand at time of submission
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), and NIHSS all must be active and in hand
* ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments will be completed during orientation; an acceptable score on both is required with a maximum of 2 attempts to pass
* One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty from assignments worked in the past 12 months is required

This is a large academic medical center and main campus hospital offering a full spectrum of specialized healthcare services. The facility supports a diverse patient population and provides nurses the opportunity to work across multiple units including Med/Surg Telemetry and the Emergency Department.
