RN - OBGYN Clinic

Job Details:

* Outpatient OBGYN clinic role with a 13-week assignment
* Day shift schedule with no weekend or on-call requirements
* Guaranteed 40 hours per week
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; L&D experience accepted in lieu of outpatient OBGYN experience
* Must be well-versed in obstetric emergencies including placenta previa, ectopic pregnancy, and pregnancy-induced hypertension (gestational hypertension and preeclampsia)
* Triage patients over the phone and respond to inquiries via EPIC and voice message
* Perform clinic duties related to maternity and gynecological care of women
* Skills required include telephone triage, pap smear assistance, medication reconciliation, vital signs, urine collection, vaginal bleeding assessment, spontaneous abortion management, and pharmacy/patient refill requests
* Set up aseptic and sterile procedure trays as needed
* Interpret laboratory results and complete patient health questionnaires, history, and allergy documentation
* EPIC experience required
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby; refusal to float may result in termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
* Required certification: BLS
* Washington state or compact RN license required within 2 weeks of start; pending license acceptable if applied for
