Job Details:

* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Required certifications: BLS, RD/RDN, GA License
* Patient ratio of 1:100 with approximately 25 visits per day and an average daily census of 280
* Responsible for inpatient therapies and interventions including calorie counts, tube feedings, food-drug interactions, TPN, treatment plan development, and nutrition assessments
* Required systems experience: Epic (required), Pyxis, SBAR
* Scrub color: Purple
* Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
* Weekend schedule: Every 5th weekend
* Floating required within the facility
* On-call required on weekends and after hours as assigned
* Holiday coverage expected: If one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two
* Major holidays include: New Year's Eve and Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve and Day
* 40 orientation hours required

This healthcare facility is a large inpatient setting with a daily census of approximately 280 patients and 260 beds. The facility offers robust interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. The organization is committed to comprehensive patient care across adult and geriatric populations and utilizes advanced systems including Epic to support clinical operations.
