Open Position: Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

* 3x12 shift schedule
* Every other weekend requirement (Friday/Saturday)
* Float between PICU, ED, and Adult critical care with potential for additional float units based on skill set and hospital needs
* 1.5+ years of experience required; PICU/NICU experience is highly preferred
* First-time travelers accepted
* NJ license required at time of submission
* Required certifications: BLS and NBRC
* Advanced certifications (ACLS/PALS/NRP) highly preferred but can be obtained onsite
* Treat adult and pediatric patient mix
* Perform blood gas, vent/BiPAP/High Flow initiation and management, code response, in-house transport, medication administration, and Chest PT
* Equipment experience required: Servo I & U, V60 BiPAP
* Charting system: EPIC
* Required skills include adult critical care, emergency department, extubation, intubation assist, nasal and oral airway placement and suctioning, sputum specimen collection, tracheostomy care/management, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), BiPAP, CPAP, troubleshooting high pressure alarms, and weaning from mechanical ventilation
* All requested time off must be submitted with the submittal and approved before an offer is made
