RN - L&D

Job Details:

* Minimum 3 years of L&D experience required; 5 years preferred
* Kentucky license or compact license required at time of submission
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN
* Must be able to circulate for cesarean sections
* Patient ratios: L&D 2:1; Mother/Baby 6-8:1; NICU 1-4:1 depending on acuity
* Perform vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and induction of labor (Cook catheter, Cervidil, oxytocin)
* Perform IV insertions, lab draws, sterile vaginal exams, assist with epidurals, and foley catheter insertion
* Experience with IUFD care required
* Work with equipment including Alaris pumps, Corometrics 250 series Fetal Monitor, Monica monitor, and Ranger fluid warmer
* Utilize EMR systems Meditech Expanse and CPN (Centricity Perinatal)
* Every other weekend schedule required (Friday and Saturday nights)
* Scrubs provided by facility for infant security purposes
* Unit located on the second floor of the main building

Facility:

This facility operates a comprehensive Labor & Delivery unit with 7 L&D beds, 14 Mother/Baby beds, and a Level 2 NICU and Newborn Nursery. The unit maintains a robust team of 58 staff members across day and night shifts and is equipped with modern perinatal monitoring and care technology to support a wide range of obstetric procedures and patient needs.
