Open Position: Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2147.32

Opportunity:

CVOR - 1100-2230 with cardiac call - will do other cases if no cardiac

Job Details:

* Shift hours from 11:00 AM to 10:30 PM with cardiac call required
* Guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 hours for 8/10 shifts
* Cardiac call requirements vary - approximately 6 shifts minimum per month, may be up to 10 shifts if short staffed
* Weekend call shifts are 24-hour shifts
* Strong CVOR and vascular experience required
* Minimum 18 months of experience required; 2 years preferred; 3+ years strongly preferred
* Must have experience in Cardiac OR and be able to work call independently
* Will perform other OR cases when no cardiac cases are scheduled
* Floating within scope to meet facility needs required
* Floating to sister facilities required
* Block scheduling not available
* BLS certification required
* NBSTSA or NCCT certification preferred but not required
* Scrub color: Ceil Blue
* Charting system: EPIC
* Free parking available in unrestricted spaces
* Must be willing to participate in training for students and new staff at this teaching facility
* All RTO must be submitted at time of submission and will not be reviewed if added after
* Required skills include but are not limited to: CVOR, CABG, TAVR, VAD, valve replacements, endovascular procedures, vascular surgeries, and general OR cases

This short-term acute care teaching facility operates 230 staffed beds and features 18 operating rooms with a daily census of 55-60 cases. The facility supports a comprehensive range of surgical services with a strong focus on cardiac and vascular procedures. As a teaching institution, the facility is committed to training and education, requiring all clinical staff to actively participate in the development of students and new team members.
