Job Details:

* Evening shift schedule to be discussed during interview
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Weekend coverage required as needed
* Block scheduling is not available
* Local candidates accepted
* Tennessee license required at time of submission
* Pediatrics experience required
* Driver's license must be included with submission
* All requested time off must be included at time of submission RTO submitted after offer will not be honored
* Provides consultative services and clinical expertise to evaluate and improve medication usage and therapeutic outcomes
* Promotes continued improvement within the pharmacy scope of practice
* Processes orders and prescriptions to provide medications and pharmaceutical supplies ordered by physicians and authorized medical practitioners
* Advises physicians, healthcare staff, residents, and patients in the safe administration of medication
* Follows established policies and participates in the development of and ensures compliance with medication safety, regulatory requirements, quality standards, and compliance activities
* Performs other job functions as assigned or requested
* If assignment includes end-of-year holidays and all three (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's) fall during the assignment, must be willing to work 2 of the 3 holidays; if only 2 holidays fall during the assignment, must be willing to work at least 1
