Opportunity:

RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour evening shifts from 2:00 PM to 2:30 AM
* 36 or 48 hours guaranteed per week
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned groups of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
* Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze relevant patient data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans prescribing interventions to attain outcomes
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver care in a safe and caring environment
* Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
* Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
* Minimum 2 years of recent experience in field required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* Acute care facility experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA or ARC), PALS (AHA or ARC), NRP (AHA or ARC)
* Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice required

This facility is a 108-bed acute care hospital centrally located in the heart of California's Central Valley. The organization operates an emergency department and provides both primary and specialty care services to best serve the surrounding community. Location:

Tulare, CA
