Opportunity:

RN - Outpatient Post-Transplant Kidney Clinic

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* No on-call, weekend, or holiday shifts required
* Work primarily at a workstation with dual screens, laptop, scanner, and phone
* Triage post-transplant patient calls and manage high call volumes
* Order, review, and escalate lab results as needed
* Schedule testing such as transplant biopsies and diagnostic exams
* Enter electronic prescriptions and assist with clinic preparation
* Perform patient assessments as needed
* Utilize EMR systems including Meditech, Presidio, and Teleresults (transplant-based)
* Must demonstrate strong multi-tasking, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
* Excellent customer service skills required
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
* Patient triage experience and experience with high call volumes preferred
* Positive, self-driven personality with ability to handle high volume of calls and tasks preferred
* Required certification: BLS
* Navy scrubs required

This facility is home to the largest living kidney donor program in the United States and the largest deceased donor program in Texas. The outpatient post-transplant clinic features 9 dedicated exam rooms and is staffed by a specialized team of transplant coordinators and schedulers focused on managing patients following kidney transplant procedures. The clinic operates as part of a comprehensive transplant institute committed to delivering high-quality, specialized post-transplant care.
