Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* 3x12 shift schedule with start times of 7:00 AM, 10:00 AM, or 11:00 AM available
* Shift options include 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Every other weekend requirement
* Rotating holiday requirement
* Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 to 1:5
* Provide emergency care for patients of all ages in a 25+ bed emergency department including hallway beds
* Work in a New York State Designated Stroke Center
* Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system
* Telemetry skills required including ability to read strips
* Experience with drips and ventilators required
* No floating requirement
* Floor-specific orientation provided
* Charge nurse available but not assigned to travelers
* Nurse aides available on unit
* Respiratory therapy available 24/7
* Any scrub color permitted
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Active New York State nursing license in good standing required
* All requested time off must be included with submission and profile - no exceptions

The department is supported by a robust clinical team including charge nurses, nurse aides, hospitalists, and 24/7 respiratory therapy.
